**You may do a chain 3 in place of a Chainless Double Crochet. To learn to do a CDC, go to Tamara Kelly aka Moogly on you tube. She has a great tutorial on how to do one.

Join each round with a slip stitch. Always make CDC in the same stitch you slip stitch into to join a round.

Toe:

Start with a Magic Cirlce

Round 1:
Start with a Chainless Double Crochet, then do 11 more double crochet You should have a total of 12 DC, tighten your circle up and join your last DC to your CDC with a slip stitch.  Tie off or carry over your tail and crochet over it with your next round.

Round 2:
CDC, then do one more DC in the SAME St.  Do 2DC in each following St for a total of 24 DC, join round.

Round 3:
W4/5: CDC, One DC in each remaining stitch, Total of 24, join round.

W6/7: CDC, 1 DC next 10 St, 2 DC next St, 1 DC next 11 St, 2 DC next St, Total of 26, join Round

*1 DC in next 3 St,  then 2 DC in next* to the end, Total of 30, join round.

W12/13 & M10/11: CDC, then 1 DC next St, then 2 DC in next St, *1 DC next 2 St, 2 Dc next St* to the end, Total of 32, join round.

M12/13: CDC, then 1 DC next 2 St, then 2 DC in next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC next 3 St, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, 1 DC, 2 DC next St, Total of  34, join round.

M14/15: CDC, *1 DC next St, 2 DC next St*, Total of 36, join round.

Round 4 & 5:
CDC, then 1 DC in each St that follows, join round.  St count should match that of row 3 when done.

Body of Foot:
(The first 5 rounds for the toe are NOT included in the round count for the body of the foot.)

Round 1 through 10 (11/12/13/14/15/16):  CDC, then 1 DC in each following St., join round.
W4/5: 10 rounds
W6/7 : 11 rounds

M14/15: 16 rounds

Once the final round is complete, Slip Stitch the round together, and pull a long tail of yarn, but DO NOT cut.

Heel:
(The widest count of stitches for the heel is exactly the same number as rounds for the body of the foot.)

The heel is done in an hour glass shape, for a total of  8 rows.

Count 5 St over from your Slip St/CDC

Row 1:
CDC, then 1 DC in each following St until you get to your needed number of DC.
W4/5: 10 St
W6/7 : 11 St
W8/9 & M6/7 : 12 St
W10/11 & M8/9: 13 St
W12/13 & M10/11: 14 St
M12/13: 15 St
M14/15: 16 St

Row 2:
Decrease by crocheting your CDC and 1 DC together, then 1 DC in the rest of the St until 2 are left. Do a decrease by Crocheting the last 2 together. Turn your work.

Row 3 and 4:
Follow the same instructions as row 2.

Row 5 - 7:
(Here's where we increase to get the hour glass shape)
CDC in first St, and 1 DC in the SAME St, 1 DC in each St till you get to the last St, put 2 DC in the last St in the row.

Row 8:
NO increases in this row.
CDC in 1st St, and 1 DC to the end of the row.

**We do not increases on the last row, row 8, so that the number of St for BOTH ends of our heel hour glass will match up exactly.

Once the Heel hour glass is complete, cut an extra long tail, and fold backwards so the heel is "inside out" (this is to hide our wip St) and Wip St along the edges of the heel.

Tie off,  weave in your tail, and flip your heel right side out.

Ankle:

Row 1: CDC, 1 DC in each St, until you get to the heel. Do the next 3 St together as 1 St (See Pic),
Then 1 DC in each St across the heel, Once at the other Corner Repeat 3 St together, Then 1 DC in each stitch to follow until you get to the end. Join round. You should have the SAME amount of St around as you had on the foot.

Row 2: CDC, 1 DC in each following St to the end of the round, maintain same St count.

Do your remaining rounds until you hit your desired Length.

3 Rounds - Short

6 Rounds - Medium

9 Rounds - Tall

Cuff:
2 Rows of your toe/heel color.
Row 1: CDC, 1 DC in each following St, join round.

Row 2: CDC, 1 DC in each following St, join round, Finish off and cut a tail, weave in your tail and your done!

Now make your slipper a mate and slip them on and enjoy warm fun feet!!
